Why This Work Needs Partners

Careful theological writing is slow work. It requires sustained time for study, drafting, revision, editing, and publication, and it must remain free of the pressures that would push it to simplify what should not be simplified, or to accelerate what must unfold patiently.

This work has reached a point where it cannot be sustained on personal resources alone. A four-book project, a weekly newsletter, an essay library, social platform management, and a teaching channel together require more time than secular work allows me to give. The decision in front of me is whether to continue at the present pace or to scale the work back so I can return to outside employment.

I would rather not scale it back. The framework that has emerged across these four books is the most important work I have done, and the moment for it to land is now. Partners make it possible to continue.

Two Ways to Partner

There are two ways readers most commonly partner in this work. They are different in scale, but they are the same in kind.

Partner. A monthly gift in any amount. Partners sustain the ordinary, ongoing rhythm of the work — the writing time, the website, the publication costs, the steady weekly output. Smaller monthly gifts, given consistently, are the foundation that makes everything else possible.

Sustaining Partner. A more substantial monthly gift, or a meaningful one-time gift. Sustaining partners take on a larger share of the load and make it possible for me to continue at the present pace through the four-book launch and beyond.

Both tiers reflect different levels of capacity to give. They do not reflect different levels of access. There are no tiers of content, no perks, no exclusive material reserved for higher gifts. The work itself remains freely available — the books, the essays, the newsletter, the teaching — to everyone, partner or not. What partners receive is not access. It is the relationship itself: the knowledge that you are sustaining work that you believe strengthens the church, and a periodic letter from me as the work proceeds, written specifically to those who are carrying it with me.

If a one-time gift is the form your support takes, it is received with the same gratitude as any monthly partnership. There is no hierarchy of giving here. There is only the work and the people who make it possible.

How to Partner

The giving form here accepts both monthly and one-time gifts in any amount. If you would prefer to discuss partnership directly — including arrangements for larger gifts, gifts of stock or other assets, or anything else — you are welcome to contact me at: john@johnwiertzema.com.

A Word About Tone

Many conversations about the end of the age generate more heat than light. My aim is different. I am committed to careful reading of Scripture, durable hope, and a genuine unity that is rooted in clarity and holds firm convictions without compromise.

If this work has strengthened your understanding, steadied your hope, or encouraged thoughtful conversation, you are welcome to help sustain it.

There is no obligation. Only invitation.
